Prelude: Pyrrha Alexandra vs. Scorpion

Jake: Pyrrha is the daughter of Sophitia and Rothion Alexandra as well as older sister to Patroklos, she lived her early live under the care of her loving family.

Celestia: That was until a certain someone named Tira payed the family a little visit. Let's just say Tira has an atrocious way of greetings.

Jake: If by greeting you mean by kidnapping the homeowner's daughter and fusing her with the shard of an evil sword, then yes.

Celestia: Sophitia had to sacrifice herself and become a servant to the evil sword Soul Edge to save the life of her daughter. Admirable I'll admit.

Jake: Unfortunately for Pyrrha this was just a start of many tragic events that occur throughout her life including the "mysterious" murders of her adopted families as well as the love of her life Jurgis being killed after he proposed to her.

Celestia: These events made Pyrrha fragile which was perfect for Tira to pounce and take Pyrrha alongside her to turn her into the perfect candidate to wield Soul Edge.

Jake: Despite the amount of people she was forced to kill in self defense, Pyrrha didn't change from the innocent girl she once was. So changing plans Tira decided to reunite Pyrrha with her brother Patroklos.

Celestia: While on their way back home, the Alexandra twins encountered the monstrosity known as Voldo who Pyrrha manages to defeat, then when they where in a burning city they encounter the devious monstrosity of Soul Edge, Nightmare.

Jake: Who like a badass, turned Patroklos into a little bitch with just a few hurtful words and a couple of sword slashes.

Celestia: Pyrrha though would have none of that and used her powers as a malfested to hold off and defeat Nightmare.

Jake: Unfortunately this didn't go well with her brother and he decided to run away and later would kill Pyrrha under the control of Elysium. Our hero every one!

Celestia: He seems like the sought of person I'd see locked up in a cage in hell alongside Hitler.

Jake: You got that right. Though due to bullshit time manipulation Patrokolos would free Pyrrha from Soul Edge's hold and they lived happily ever after. While leaving every single Soul Calibur fan rightfully pissed off at the shit story.

FEATS:
- Saved her brother Patroklos twice
- Defeated Voldo and Nightmare
- Has taken down hordes of men during her "Rampages"
- Destroyed a village

Jake: Now onto weapons, first off is the Elk Shield which was probably taken from Pyrrha's mom. It's a small rounded shield that is capable of blocking basic attacks to the more powerful blows depending on how Pyrrha uses it.

Celestia: The next weapon I do not appreciate, mainly due to the holy elements surrounding the thing. The Omega sword was originally used by Sophitia until her death but after receiving it from Tira, Pyrrha used this weapon as her main means of offense until she received a far superior sword.

Jake: The Soul Edge, after being led to it by Tira, Pyrrha switched out her Omega Sword for this beast of a weapon which by the way can absorb the souls of those the wielder kills.

EQUIPMENT:

Elk Shield
- Used with either the Omega Sword or Soul Edge

- Likely taken from Sophitia

Omega Sword
- Holy blade forged by Hephaestus
- Given to Pyrrha by Tira
- Likely stolen from Sophitia's corpse


Soul Edge
- Darker counterpart to Soul Calibur
- Used by Pyrrha's malfested form
- Absorbs the souls of Pyrrha's slain opponents

Celestia: Pyrrha can also utilize special combo attacks known as Critical Edges, these types of attacks can deal a great deal of damage against her opponents. The critical edge that normal Pyrrha uses is the Trinity Strike which involves Pyrrha stabbing her opponent three times. Seems quite underwhelmingly basic for a special move in a fighting game.

Jake: Not to worry Celestia, her second critical edge is far more powerful. The Omega Therion involves Pyrrha stabbing her opponent in the gut and lifting them him or her up to the air and finishing them off with an explosion erupting from Soul Edge. However this move can only be used by Pyrrha's Malfested form.


CRITICAL EDGES:
- Trinity Strike: Stabs her opponent three times
- Omega Therion (exclusive to Omega version): Stabs her opponent in the gut, lifts them in the air, stabs them deeper, then causes an explosion that sends them into the air, then landing on the ground.

Jake: Speaking of Pyrrha Omega, her malfested form transform Pyrrha from the sweet and innocent girl that we once knew into a terrifying monster of rage.

Celestia: So this form gives her a an entirely different personality as well as increase her fighting skill capable of matching one Soul Calibur's most powerful fighters, Pyrrha sounds way more interesting than her pathetic brother.

Jake: Also this form allows Pyrrha to use the devastating Soul Edge.


MALFESTED FORM:
- Increases Pyrrha's fighting ability enough to allow her to fight off foes such as Nightmare.
- Makes her a lot more aggressive.
- Also known as Pyrrha Omega.
- Grants her access to Soul Edge.

Celestia: No warrior especially in Soul Calibur is perfect, otherwise they would be quite dull. Pyrrha's main weakness is the fact that she is unwilling to participate in a battle and is usually forced into combat situations rather than starting them. Plus she's a pathetic scaredy cat.

Jake: Although Pyrrha is a powerhouse when in her malfested form she loses her sanity and often gets unfocused during the fight. Lastly and most annoying of all is the fact that she lost to her brother twice, not much of a weakness however considering how much Plot convenience, plot induced stupidity and plot shields her brother is filled with.


WEAKNESSES:
- As normal Pyrrha, despises fighting and is often scared in battle.
- As Omega Pyrrha, is insane and unfocused.
- Has lost to her brother twice.

Celestia: Despite the weaknesses, Pyrrha is not one to look down on.

Jake: Yup, Pyrrha may be sweet and innocent at one moment, but she can just as easily become a savage monster robbing you of your soul the next.

(Pyrrha: "Not my fault. You brought this on yourself!")

Name: Hanzo Hasashi
Alias: Scorpion

Occupation: Spectre of the Netherrealm


Jake: Hanzo Hasashi was born as a part of the ninja clan known as the Shirai Ryu, his father band him from becoming a ninja assassin.

Celestia: That promise didn't last long as Hanzo became a ninja of the Shirai Ryu and became one of the finest members of the Ninja clan. H eventually got given the code name Scorpion.

Jake: All seemed to be well for Hanzo.

Celestia: Alas, fate on the other hand had chosen a much more dark life for Scorpion and soon the yellow clad ninja witnesses the death of his family by the hands of the Lin Kuei.

Jake: Scorpion was taken down by Sub-Zero and all seemed lost for our favorite Ninja from fighting games. Then a mysterious sorcerer appeared offering Scorpion a chance to claim revenge for his family and clan.

Celestia: That sorcerer turned out to be Quan Chi, the man who was actually responsible for the destruction of the Shirai Ryu while disguised as Sub-Zero.

Jake: Scorpion would serve Quan Chi as a Spectre of the Netherrealm and would finally claim revenge by killing Sub-Zero during the Mortal Kombat tournament.

Celestia: Unfortunately for Scorpion, he figured out eventually that Sub-Zero was not the man who destroyed his clan. So as a way to respect the fallen Lin Kuei assassin, he made it his duty to protect the Sub-Zero's younger brother known as Kuai Liang.

Jake: and the rest is history until Raiden fucked up the timeline.

Celestia: Note to self, never trust a thunder god.

FEATS:
- Killed the older Sub-Zero
- Became Champion of the Elder Gods and defeated Onaga
- Hunted down and tortured Quan Chi for an unknown number of years
- Defeated Nightwolf, Kung Lao, Cyrax, Sektor and the first Sub-Zero in the alternate timeline
- Escaped the fate of being Death Battle's resident doormat after finally winning a Death Battle

Jake: Of course being a ninja from a fighting game, you would need to know your way around Hand to hand combat and Scorpion comes well prepared for that sought of situation.

Celestia: This includes Hapkido, a Korean martial art designed to lock down opponents with joint strikes and throws. Moi Fa, a martial art that focuses on quick powerful strikes as previde a defense through the attacking limb. Finally we have Piqua Quan which is a martial art that focuses on constant hand movements and offensive maneuvers.

Jake: and obviously he is a master of Ninjutsu, a martial art created by Ninjas, which is primarily designed for all areas of combat and stealth capabilities.

Jake: Scorpion doesn't just fight with his fists, he also brings in a few weapons, each designed to deliver fatal blows to his opponent.

Celestia: His small but effective arsenal includes, The Katana sword which is stronger than your average sword and has a blade that is about 40" long. Stinger Swords which are both 30" long and each possess a serrated blade, plus with the fact that Scorpion carries two of these swords means he can duel wield.

Jake: and finally we come to Scorpion's most iconic weapon, the Kunai spear. This badass weapon is a single Kunai blade attached to a rope that can reach up to a 10" long range. This weapon's primary use is the ability to pull people towards Scorpion and leaving them exposed for Scorpion to dish out a brutal beating. Also he carries two these weapons so he can duel wield if necessary.

Celestia: Now then shall we talk about the ferocious abilities that Scorpion as a hell-spawn possesses?

Jake: Oh hell yeah! Scorpion as a hell-spawn can utilize the element of Hellfire, which unlike normal fire can not only burn a person's body but there soul as well.

Celestia: Indeed, Scorpion can use Hellfire to enhance his already powerful blows to inflict more damage and he can summon a burst of Hellfire underneath his opponent, he can teleport and ambush his opponent from behind and once his opponent his vulnerable he can finish them off by incinerating them with hellfire from his skull head.

Jake: and Scorpion can teleport his opponent and himself to the Netherrealm. Speaking of which...

HELLFIRE POWERS AND SPECIAL MOVES:

Can open portals to and from the Netherrealm
Hellfire Punch
- Teleports behind his foe and punches them with a hellfire fist
- Can follow up with another uppercut
- Can also teleport in the air
Hellfire/Demon Fire
- Summons hellfire from underneath his foe
Flaming Backflip Kick
- Lights his legs on fire and flip kicks his opponent
Fire Breath
- Removes his mask and spews hellfire on his opponent
Leg Takedown
- Trips his opponent with a leg scissor takedown
Air Throw
- Grapples the opponent in the air and throws them to the ground
Spear
- Throws his spear forward to impale the opponent in the chest
- Can drag the opponent over and follow up with a flaming uppercut
X-Ray Move
Scorpion teleports underneath some flames and re-appears behind his opponent, punching them in the groin before punching them again in the side of the face, breaking their skull and knocking them down. He walks over and stamps on their chest, cracking and breaking their ribs.
Fatalities

Jake: ...Scorpion gets a boost from when he is in the Netherrealm increasing his strength and supernatural abilities while draining the strength and powers of his opponent.


THE NETHERREALM:
- Increases Scorpion's strength and supernatural powers
- Drains other beings of their strength and powers
- Scorpion can transport himself and his opponents to the Netherrealm

Celestia: Scorpion however is not invincible, he is easily fooled and manipulated into aggressive actions and it doesn't help that he often gets reckless and impulsive in battle.

Jake: That and he can only be brought back to life under specific circumstances.


WEAKNESSES:
- Can only be revived under specific circumstances
- Easily fooled and manipulated
- Reckless and impulsive

Jake: But that doesn't mean you should take it easy when fighting this guy.

Celestia: Trust me, the last thing you should do is hold back against a Spectre especially one that is a ninja, if you do I will question your intelligence.
